HOME IMPROVEMENT (Posted 2010-05-17)

  • Each year, USPS designates the third full week of May as “Mailbox Improvement Week” to encourage customers to examine and improve the appearance of their mailboxes. This year’s observance emphasizes the need to provide and maintain mailboxes that are:
    • Approved by the PMG.
    • Designed to protect the mail from weather.
    • Safe to use.
    • Conveniently located.
    • Neat in appearance.
The Postal Service standard USPS-STD-7B governs the design and specifications of curbside mailboxes and includes provisions for improving their quality.

Neighborhood Cleanup Day - May 1 (Posted 2010-04-18)

  • May 1 will be a neighborhood cleanup day, starting at 10am. We would like to get as many residents as possible to help improve the looks of our cul-de-sacs, gutters, common areas, and safety paths. Details to come.

Break-in (Posted 2010-03-05)

  • We have been alerted, by a resident, to the fact that on February 25, there was a break-in of a home on Ashley and a possible attemped burglary of a house on Blasser. This was reported in the March 3 edition of the Lake Orion Review. See the link below.

Please be on the lookout for any suspicious activities around the subdivision and contact the sheriff's department if you suspect anything.

Also, it would be a good idea to make sure that your house does not attract any attention by leaving your garage open for extended periods of time while you are not outside. This can lead to burglars coming into the subdivision looking for opportunities.

    Thank You, KMMA

Snow Plowing

  • As some of you may have noticed or seen, the Road Commission for Oakland County has been plowing the roads this year. We were able to contact them through their website and the have been plowing and salting/sanding the roads.

We are not on the top of their list, so please be patient with them, but the roads should be plowed at least a couple of days after a snowfall. If you feel there is plowing that needs to be done and would like to contact them, please feel free to do so at: RCOC Contact Website

Also, we will try to contact them this spring about the drainage issue at the front of Regency.
